Navy Chiefs of Netherlands and Germany arrive in Sri Lanka to attend Galle Dialogue 2016
 

A group of foreign delegates who are expected to take part in the flagship event of the Sri Lanka Navy, Galle Dialogue 2016, arrived in Sri Lanka yesterday (26). Among the delegates who arrived at the Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA), were Commander Royal Netherlands Navy, Lieutenant General Rob Verkerk and Inspector of the German Navy, Vice Admiral Andreas Krause along with Mrs. Krause.

The visiting Naval Chiefs were ceremonially welcomed in accordance with the local traditions upon their arrival at BIA. Commander of the Sri Lanka Navy, Vice Admiral Ravindra Wijegunaratne and the President of Navy Seva Vanitha Unit Mrs. Yamuna Wijegunaratne were present on the occasion to receive the delegates and they also shared a light moment with the envoys. The Galle Dialogue 2016, International Maritime Conference is scheduled to be commenced at the Galle Face Hotel, Colombo tomorrow (28).
