Navy-Police combine efforts arrests suspect with Heroin
 

On receipt of an intelligence tip-off, naval personnel attached to SLNS Parakrama, in Colombo in the Western Naval Command together with Police Narcotics Bureau arrested a person with 30 g of heroin in his possession yesterday (7).

The suspect was arrested in the general area of Ja-Ela and was handed over to the Police Narcotics Unit in Colombo, for onward investigation.
