Navy nabs 4 suspects with 5 kg of Kerala Cannabis
 

On receipt of intelligence information, naval personnel attached to the Northwestern Naval Command in coordination with the Police Special Task Force, Puttalam carried out a joint raid today (28). During the raid, 4 suspects who were on an attempt to transfer 5 kg of Kerala Cannabis by means of a van were apprehended, in the general area of Nawagaththegama.

The arrested persons and the stock of cannabis will be handed over to the Anamaduwa Police for onward legal action.
