A person attempting to smuggle a load of copper wire from Hambantota harbour nabbed by the Navy
 

A group of naval personnel attached to the Hambantota Naval Deployment apprehended person who was attempting to smuggle 124 kg of copper wire from the Hambantota harbour premises yesterday (30).

The apprehended person and the load of wire were handed over to the Hambantota Police for onward legal action.
