Senior officers from Royal Canadian Navy call on Commander of the Navy
 

The Commander Maritime Forces Pacific and Joint Task Force Pacific, Rear Admiral ART McDonald and the Commanding Officer of the Royal Canadian Naval Ship ‘HMCS Winnipeg’ which arrived at the port of Colombo on 20th May, Commander JJ Hutchinson called on the Commander of the Navy, Vice Admiral Ravindra Wijegunaratne at the Naval Headquarters today (22).

The visiting Canadian naval officers held cordial discussions with Commander of the Navy and shared views on matters of bilateral importance and mutual interests. Naval Assistant, Captain Rohan Joseph and Defence Attaché of the Canadian High Commission in Sri Lanka, Colonel Mark Dussault were also present on this occasion. Mementoes were also exchanged to mark the importance of this meeting.
