Navy arrests a suspect with illegal drugs
 

On receipt of intelligence information to the Navy, naval personnel attached to the Northwestern Naval Command combined with STF personnel in Puttalam, during a raid carried out at Norochcholei area apprehended a suspect with illegal drugs yesterday (July, 11).

Accordingly, thousand (1000) tablets of illegal drugs which are believed to be used for intoxication were arrested while distributing in Norochcholei area. The arrested person and consignment of illegal drugs were handed over to the Norochcholei Police for further investigations.
