Sri Lanka Navy Sailing Pool hails at the Bolgoda Lake
 

The Sri Lanka Navy Sailing pool did creditably well to win the Dunlop Bell Sailing Championship -2017 organized by the National Yacht Club at the Bolgoda Lake on 23rd July 2017. Chief Petty Officer W.A.R.Nishantha who had been represented the Sri Lanka Navy Sailing Pool,won this Championship for the fourth consecutive year.

40 competitors along with the 29 sailing yachts representing various sailing clubs in the country took part in the series of events, in which sailors of the pool secured a numbers of victories as follows;

• 1^st  to 3^rd places- in the Enterprise event.

• 1^st to 3^rd places -in the Laser event.

• 1^st and the 2^nd places- in the G.P.14 event.
