Newly-appointed Commander of the Navy calls on His Excellency the President
 

The newly-appointed Commander of the Navy, Vice Admiral Sirimevan Ranasinghe called on His Excellency the President and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Maithripala Sirisena at the Presidential Secretariat today (31st October).

During the cordial interaction, His Excellency the President conveyed his best wishes to Vice Admiral Ranasinghe on his new appointment as the Commander of the Sri Lanka Navy and presented him the official charter.

To mark his first official call on the President of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka upon assumption of duties as the 22nd Commander of the Sri Lanka Navy, Vice Admiral Ranasinghe presented a special memento to His Excellency the President.
