Indian naval ships depart from Colombo harbour on completion of successful tour
 

Indian naval ships Tir and Sujatha and the Indian Coast Guard ship Sarathi which arrived in Sri Lanka on a goodwill and training visit, set sail from the Colombo harbour today (06th November 2017), on completion of successful tour. Sri Lanka Navy bade customary farewell to the departing ships in accordance with naval traditions.

During their five-day official visit, the ships participated in a number of training exercises with SLN ships with a view to share professional expertise and strengthen friendship. Besides, the musical ensemble of the Indian ships partnering with the Sri Lanka Navy band presented a colourful concert at the Galle Face Green yesterday (05th November 2017). A large crowd gathered at the Galle Face Green to witness the colourful event wich delivered entertaining music for the public.
