SLNS Sayurala arrives at Pattaya harbour in Thailand
 

Sri Lanka Navy Ship (SLNS) Sayurala which left for Thailand on 09th of this month to take part in the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) International Fleet Review 2017, arrived at the Pattaya harbour today (16th November).

Upon her arrival in Pattaya, the Fleet Officer Commanding Naval Fleet, Rear Admiral Kapila Samaraweera, Commanding Officer SLNS Sayurala, Captain Nishantha Amarosa, its Executive Officer, Commander Chaminda Karunasena and Lieutenant JG Kiettiphum Supanpong from Royal Thai Navy held a discussion on the prospects of forthcoming fleet review.

This International Fleet Review is scheduled to be held in Pattaya, Thailand from 18th to 21st November, to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations. Twenty six (26) naval ships representing 19 Southeast Asian Nations are expected to take part in the Fleet Review and related naval exercises.
