Navy continues to provide relief measures for people lashed by extreme weather
The daily routine of communities at several regions in the island was greatly hampered after the inclement weather that wreaked havoc in the country over the last couple of days. Naval personnel attached to the Marine Battalion and Rapid Response Rescue & Release Squadron (4RS) have already commenced relief work in view of restoring the lives of affected people in respective areas.

Sri Lanka Navy apprehends 20 Indian fishermen for poaching in Sri Lankan territorial waters
Fast Attack Craft attached to the Northern Naval Command, on routine patrol, apprehended 20 Indian fishermen along with 02 fishing trawlers for poaching in the Sri Lankan territorial waters north of Kovilan Point and Point Pedro last night (01 December).
