Sri Lanka Navy officially handed over the customary duty of Ceremonial Guard at the President House to the Sri Lanka Air Force with effect from 01 January 2018.

Naval personnel attached to the North Western Naval Command arrested 3 persons engaged in illegal fishing activities using unauthorized fishing nets, in the seas off Ippantivu, Kalpitiya yesterday (02 January ).
