Fifteen Drill Instructors pass out at NMA
 

On successful completion of their training, 15 Drill Instructors (DIs) of the 28th Drill Instructor Course passed out at the main Parade Ground of the Naval and Maritime Academy (NMA) in Trincomalee on 24 January. Commandant NMA, Commodore Kassapa Paul graced this occasion as the Chief Guest.

 A total of 15 DIs including a women Drill Instructress successfully completed the course which spanned 6 months. Meanwhile, Leading Seaman GKAR Senavirathna having been adjudged the best Drill Instructor of the course won the copper plated DI whistle and chain. A host of senior naval officers and sailors were also present on this occasion.
