Northern Naval Command conducts a field medical clinic in Jaffna
 

As a part of the Sri Lanka Navy’s cooperate social responsibility project, the Northern Naval Command conducted a field medical clinic for resettled people at Mawadipurum model village in Kankasanthurai on 06th May 2018. It was held under the guidance of the Commander Northern Naval Area, Rear Admiral PM Wickramasinghe.

Nearly 280 people at Mawadipurum and Nallinakkipuram villages in Jaffna district were benefited from this clinic.

Diagnose of chronic non communicable diseases and treatments for chronic/acute diseases at primary health care level were given by medical officers of Sri Lanka Navy. Field laboratory investigations and medicines were provided on free of charge at this clinic under the support of State Pharmaceutical Cooperation and Triposha Lanka Ltd.
