Maldivian Coast Guard ship “Huravee” arrives at Colombo port
 

Maldivian Coast Guard ship “Huravee” arrived at the port of Colombo on a goodwill visit today (7th July). The ship was warmly welcomed by the Sri Lanka Navy in accordance with naval traditions, on her arrival.

 Subsequently, the Commanding Officer of the visiting ship; Major Mohomed Jamshad and the Defence Attaché of the Embassy of Maldives in Sri Lanka, Colonel Ahamed Ghiyas called on the Commander Western Naval Area, Rear Admiral Nishantha Ulugetenne at the Western Naval Command Headquarters and held cordial discussions. Mementoes were also exchanged to mark this occasion.

 The ship is expected to depart the Colombo harbour on 09th of this month after its 3 day official tour of Sri Lanka.
