Upon the request of the chief incumbent of the Gangaramaya Temple in Hunupitiya, the Colombo Municipal Council (CMC) under its Mayor Mrs. Rosie Senanayake launched a campaign to clean the Beira Lake and surrounding areas yesterday (22^nd July).
