Sri Lanka Thalassemia Circle pays gratitude to Sri Lanka Navy
 

In appreciation of the commendable service fulfilled for the Thalassemia patients by the Sri Lanka Navy, a souvenir was presented by the Thalassemia Circle at the Naval Headquarters today (10th August).

The Desparyeoximin vaccinate machines which are produced by Sri Lanka Navy with modern high technology to excrete the excessive deposition of Iron in the body of Thalassemia patients, are donated to the thousands of Thalassemia children throughout Sri Lanka. Admiring this foremost social responsibility work and paying their gratitude, a souvenir created by the Thalassemia Circle of Sri Lanka, was presented to the Chief of Staff of the Sri Lanka Navy Rear Admiral Piyal de Silva at the Naval Headquarters.

The President of the Sri Lanka Thalassemia Circle Mr. Namal premarathna and a group of parents of the Thamassemia children also attended this occasion.
