KRI ‘Usman Harun’ leaves Colombo harbour after successful tour
 

On successful completion of her goodwill visit, the Indonesian Naval Ship KRI ‘Usman Harun which arrived in Sri Lanka on 20th October, set sail from the island yesterday (22nd October). Sri Lanka Navy bade farewell to the departing ship in accordance with naval traditions.

On 21st October, the Commanding Officer Captain Alan Dahlan and the other officers of the ship met the Commander Western Naval Area, Rear Admiral Nishantha Ulugetenna at the Western Naval Command headquarters. They held discussions on the matters bilaterally interested and exchanged mementos to mark the occasion.

Further, the crew members of the vessel took part in several programmes organized by the Sri Lanka Navy and visited some places of religious and cultural value in Sri Lanka.
