Navy bags several victories at “Dr. Nihal Jinasena Memorial Cup Sailing Regatta”
“Dr. Nihal Jinasena Memorial Cup Sailing Regatta” organized by Ruhunu Yacht Club was held at Kapparathota sea area in Mirissa on 15th December on successful note. Sixty seven (67) contestants with 50 yachts representing many yacht clubs in the island including Sri Lanka Navy Sailing Pool, Ceylon Motor Yacht Club, Colombo Royal College participated in this year’s regatta.
The Navy team who displayed their talents under several categories emerging among all other contestants, secured victories of first, second and third places. The winners are as follows.
