Commander of the Navy pays a courtesy call on His Eminence Malcolm Cardinal Ranjith
 

Commander of the Navy, Vice Admiral Piyal De silva paid a courtesy call on the Archbishop of Colombo His Eminence Malcolm Cardinal Ranjith, at Archbishop’s House Colombo, today (12^th January).

His Eminence conveyed the greetings of the Catholic Church to the Commander of the Navy on his appointment and assured all blessings and assistance for his endeavours as the Head of the Sri Lanka Navy. After a cordial discussion, a memento was also presented to His Eminence the Cardinal by the Commander of the Navy, to signify the event.
