Navy sails to victory at Anghie Cup Sailing Regatta
The Anghie Cup Sailing Regatta organized by RCYC Sailing Club was successfully held in the serene waters of the Bolgoda Lake on 19th January. Forty two (42) yachtsmen representing the Sri Lanka Navy Sailing Pool, Ceylon Motor Yacht Club (CMYC), Royal College - Colombo Sailing Club and other well-known sailing clubs in the country participated in the event, along with 24 sailing boats.
Displaying their sterling performances in the competition, the Navy yachtsmen secured first, second and third places in a range of events, over other sailing clubs, at the Anghie Cup Sailing Regatta.
