The upgraded Sick Quarters at SLNS Mahanaga declared open as the Naval Hospital Southeastern Naval Command

The upgraded Sick Quarters at SLNS Mahanaga was declared open as the Naval Hospital Southeastern Naval Command by the Commander Southeastern Naval Area Rear Admiral Noel Kalubowila, today ( 01st April ).

Addressing the gathered officers and sailors on this occasion, Commander Southeastern Naval area paid his gratitude to the Commander of the Navy, Director General Health Services and previous Commander Southeastern Naval Area for their initiative and contribution on this project and appreciated the commitment of medical staff. Further, he reminded the naval personnel to get more medical benefits through the new naval hospital southeast. A mango sapling was also planted by him at the hospital premises to Signify this occasion.

Deputy Area Commander Southeastern Naval Area, Commodore Prasanna Hewage, Commanding Officer SLNS Mahanaga Captain Nishantha Ranaweera, Surgeon Lieutenant Commander Nirmala Wickramasinghe and number of officers and sailors of the command were also present on the occasion.
