Illicit distillery raided by Navy

Naval personnel attached to the Eastern Naval Command, during a raid carried out with the officials of Vakarei Police seized 420 liters (02 barrels) of illicit liquor in Panichchankerni area today (08^th April). Vakarei Police is conducting further investigation on the seized illicit liquor.

Further, the Navy also managed to arrest a person with 210 liters of locally distilled illicit liquor during a raid carried out in the same area on 06^th April.
