Navy finds 60.7kg of Beedi leaves

During a foot patrol conducted in the beach area of Palaitivu, naval personnel found 60.7kg of Beedi leaves on 05^th June 2019.

Naval personnel attached to the Northern Naval Command, during a foot patrol carried out in the beach area of Palaitivu, found this stock of Beedi leaves washed ashore.

The stock of Beedi leaves was handed over to the Kayts Police for onward legal action.
