Navy recovers water gel sticks in Upparu

Naval personnel, during a search conducted in the general area of Upparu in Trincomalee on 20^th June 2019 recovered several water gel sticks.

Accordingly, a team of naval personnel attached to the Eastern Naval Command whilst conducting a search operation, recovered these hidden water gel sticks in Upparu area. Among the recovered items are a 31ft long safety fuse, 500g of gunpowder and 02 water gel sticks.
