Navy's contribution to maintain a clean and beautiful coastal line

As another step of beach cleaning, a cleaning campaign was conducted along the Thalaimannar beach on 10^th August 2019.

Accordingly, the beach area from Kattukarankudirippu to Urumalai was cleaned by a campaign organized by the North Central Naval Command. A big heap of plastic and other garbage was disposed by this cleaning effort.

It is everybody's responsibility to keep our coastal belt clean in order to conserve the beach areas around the island and Sri Lanka Navy is always committed for conservation by launching and assisting such campaigns.
