Navy holds three persons for illegal transportation of sand

Navy held 3 persons who were illegally transporting sand at Kudawa area in Kalpitiya, today (20^th August.

Accordingly, these persons who were transporting a lord of sand by a lorry, were apprehended at Kudawa area in Kalpitiya during a foot patrol carried out by Northwestern Naval Command. The suspects and the lorry with lord of sand were taken into naval custody and they were handed over to Kalpitiya Police for legal action.
