Navy assists to apprehend 07 persons with Kerala Cannabis

Seven (07) persons with Kerala Cannabis were apprehended during a raid carried out by Navy in coordination with Police, at Eluththoor area in Mannar on 10^th September 2019.

A group of suspicious persons had been observed during a raid carried out by North Central Naval Command in coordination with Police Anti Corruption Unit-Mannar, at Eluththoor area in Mannar. Accordingly, by search of these suspects, 100.2g of KG was recovered and the persons were taken into naval custody. The suspects are residents of Mannar area aged 20 to 29.

They along with the seized KG were handed over to Mannar Police for further investigation. Navy continues with search operations in order to apprehend the drug traffickers and persons possess drugs as well.
