Navy assists to apprehend a person with Kerala cannabis
SL Navy in coordination with the Police apprehended a person with Kerala cannabis in Muthur area on 14th September 2019.
Accordingly the Eastern Naval Command with the assistance of Muthur Police conducted a raid at Muthur area and apprehended a person with 25g Kerala cannabis in his possession. Further interrogation revealed that the suspect is a drug trafficker in the area. The apprehended suspect is a resident of the same area, aged 22.
The apprehended suspect along with seized Kerala cannabis was handed over Muthur Police The Navy is conducting continuous operations to nab drug traffickers as well as persons for possessing such substances.
