Navy recovers RPG in Jinnapuram

A rocket-propelled grenade (RPG) was recovered by Navy during a search carried out in Jinnapuram, Pulmoddai on 23^rd September 2019.

The Eastern Naval Command, during a search in Jinnapuram area, had found this RPG and it is believed that this shoulder-fired anti-tank weapon system might have left behind during the humanitarian operation. Pulmoddai Police is conducting further investigation into the incident.
