Seven unauthorized divers apprehended by Navy

Seven unauthorized divers were apprehended by Navy at the Seas off Mohothtuwaram area in Trincomalee, on 5^th October 2019.

Accordingly, seven divers who were engaging in illegal diving without a license, were apprehended by Eastern Naval Command during a patrol carried out in Mohothtuwaram area. Two dinghies and other fishing gears used by them were also taken into Naval custody and they were handed over to Assistant Director of Fisheries-Trincomalee for further investigation.
