Drug dealer apprehend with Navy’s assistance

A person with 02g of heroin was apprehended by Navy in coordination with Police Narcotics Bureau, at Keeriyankalliya area in Mundal(Mundalama), on 08^th October 2019.

Accordingly, this person was apprehended during a raid carried out at Keeriyankalliya area in Mundal by Northwestern Naval Command in coordination with Police Narcotics Bureau-Puttalam. By further inquiry this suspected was identified as a drug dealer in the area and this amount of heroin was packed in 07 packets for sale.

The suspect is a resident of the same area aged 33. The recovered amount of heroin and the suspect were handed over to Mundal Police for further investigation.
