Commander Operational Training, Royal Navy-UK visits Eastern Naval Command

A delegation headed by the Commander Operational Training of Royal British Navy Commodore Simon Huntington who arrived in Sri Lanka to participate in the Galle Dialogue International Maritime Conference, visited Eastern Naval Command Headquarters on 23rd October 2019.

Commodore Simon Huntington with the delegation paid a courtesy call on the Deputy Area Commander Eastern Naval Area Commodore jayantha Kularathna and DAC briefed the delegation on the operational procedure of the Eastern Naval Command. Mementos were also exchanged to mark the event.

Later on, the delegation paid an observation visit to the Diving Unit of Eastern Naval Command and also they visited Naval Museum and the Headquarters of Special Boat Squadron.

Senior officers of Eastern Naval Command and Defence Attache to the British High Commission in Sri Lanka Colonel David Ausman were also attended these occasions.
