Three (03) water gel sticks found during naval operation

The Navy, during a search conducted at Nawachcholai area in Nilaweli on 15^th November 2019, found some explosive items used for illegal fishing.

Accordingly, the Eastern Naval Command during a search carried out in the beach area of Nawachcholai found these explosive items that had been hidden in a rock. Among the recovered items were; 04 non electric detonators, 03 water gel sticks and 02 pieces of safety fuse. The items are kept in the safe custody of the Navy.
