SL – Chinese Navy teams compete in friendly Basketball match in Colombo

Sri Lanka Navy Basketball team and the crew of People's Liberation Army Navy Ship "Zhu Ke Zhen" which arrived in Sri Lanka on a goodwill visit on 14^th November, competed in a friendly Basketball match today(16^th November).

The match was played at the indoor stadium of the Sri Lanka Air Force Headquarters. Commander of the Navy Vice Admiral Piyal De Silva also take part in the match representing SL Navy team. Players from both teams exhibited their sporting talents with a lot of enthusiasm in this game which was a novel experience for both teams. After the friendly encounter players of two teams appeared for a group photograph.

Commander Western Naval Area, Senior and junior officers of Chinese and SL Navy and large number of sailors were also present on this event.
