Chief of the Naval Staff of the Indian Navy attends wreath - laying ceremony at IPKF Memorial

The Chief of the Naval Staff of the Indian Navy, Admiral Karambir Singh who arrived in Sri Lanka on a four-day official visit on 18th December, paid a visit to the Indian Peace Keeping Force (IPKF) Memorial in Battaramulla this morning (20th December) to attend a wreath – laying ceremony.

Commander Western Naval Area, Defence Advisor to the High Commission of India in Sri Lanka, Captain Ashok Rao and a host of officers and sailors were also present at the event, honouring the late IPKF personnel who made the supreme sacrifice during their peace keeping missions in Sri Lanka.
