Indian Chief of the Naval Staff, Admiral Karambir Singh successfully concludes Sri Lankan tour

Concluding his official tour to Sri Lanka, the Chief of the Naval Staff (CNS) of the Indian Navy, Admiral Karambir Singh left the island in the evening on 22nd December 2019.

During this tour, Admiral Karambir Singh met with Hon. Prime Minister, Secretary Defence, Chief of Defence Staff, Commander of the Navy, Commander of the Army and Commander of the Air Force.

Further, the Indian Chief of the Naval Staff visited the Southern Naval Command where he was warmly welcomed by Rear Admiral Kassapa Paul, Commander Southern Naval Area. Subsequently, they held a cordial discussion at the auditorium of the Southern Naval Command and mementoes were also exchanged to signify the importance of the event.

Admiral Singh who graced the Commissioning Ceremony of the Midshipmen as the Chief Guest at the Naval and Maritime Academy on 22nd December, left the island in the evening of the same day after meeting Commander of the Navy Vice Admiral Piyal De Silva at the VIP chamber of the Katunayake International Airport.
