Commander of the Navy, Vice Admiral Piyal De Silva, all officers and sailors extend greetings on the joyous occasion of Christmas, which is celebrated today (25^th December) all over the world by Christians.

Christmas is an annual festival commemorating the birth of Jesus Christ. The true purpose of celebrating Christmas is to highlight the great spiritual values of Christianity with the spirit of love, sharing and forgiveness.
