Navy contributes preservation of coastal ecosystem

Another programme of the Navy's beach clean-up effort was launched in the Panama Lagoon area today (03^rd March 2020).

The programme which has been organized following the directives of Commander Southeastern Naval Area, Rear Admiral Senarath Wijesooriya was attended by a large group of naval personnel in the command. As a result of naval personnel who volunteered to clean the area, about 03km stretch of the beach from Panama Lagoon to Peanut Farm polluted by natural causes and human activities made free of waste.
