Sterilizing of Sri Lanka Broadcasting Corporation also undertaken by Navy

Sri Lanka Navy conducted a sterilization programme at the Sri Lanka Broadcasting Corporation premises, today (21st March 2020).

Sri Lanka Broadcasting Corporation had made a request from Commander of the Navy, Vice Admiral Piyal De Silva, for sterilization of their premises in order to protect lot of media personnel and others who frequently enter the location. Accordingly, Navy’s Chemical Biological Radiological and Nuclear (CBRN) Unit, attached to the Western Naval Command sterilized all areas and buildings in the Broadcasting Corporation premises following the standard operational procedures.

Meanwhile, SL Navy is geared in every possible means to carry out similar events stop the spread of the novel coronavirus.
