Self quarantined residents of Alapitawala Housing Scheme entertained by Navy

Sri Lanka Navy has planed to conduct musical programmes for the entertainment and to expel the stress and loneliness of self quarantined residents of flats in Colombo district, onwards 5th April 2020, in assistance to the government’s line up to elude the stress of the people who stay at homes in the districts which have been declared by the government as risk zones to coronavirus.

As per the programme carried out on the directives of the Commander of the Navy Vice Admiral Piyal De Silva, a musical programme was presented by Navy for the residents of Alapitawala housing scheme in Welisara on 6th April 2020.

During the programme, people were made aware of health practices to avoid the coronavirus and SL Navy will be continuing such campaigns further.
