Navy donates protective face visors to Teaching Hospital-Anuradhapura

Sri Lanka Navy handed over a stock of protective visors to the staff of the Teaching Hospital-Anuradhapura, for the use of medical staff engaged in treatments to the patients, on 22nd April 2020.

In this catastrophic situation in the country, hospital staffs have to work in an unsafe atmosphere and SL Navy has already been engaging in renovation of hospitals’ ward complexes and has introduced new devices invented using modern technology which are capable of assisting the treatments of patients. Further, medical outfits required for hospital staffs are being provided by Navy with the contributions of various private firms and civil organizations.

Accordingly, on the directives of Commander of the Navy, a stock of washable protective face visors which were donated to the Navy by ANIM-8, Supem De Silva, Adventure SEAL institutions, was handed over to Teaching Hospital-Anuradhapura, today.

The donation was handed over to the hospital by the Commandant SLNS Shiksha and a group of hospital staff was present on the occasion.
