Another stock of Inhaler Devices donated to Navy

In assistance to the Navy’s effort to control the spread of coronavirus in the country, another stock of inhaler devices invented by Surgeon Charith Nanayakkara, a lecturer in General Sir John Kothalawala Defence University, were donated to the Navy at the Naval Headquarters, today (01st May 2020).

Several programmes are being carried out by Navy, to control the spread of the coronavirus in the country and a lot of material aids provided by various organizations are being received by the Navy for these campaigns. Accordingly, a stock of 50 inhaler devices produced by Dankotuwa Porcelain Ltd. according to an invention by Surgeon Charith Nanayakkara, a lecturer in General Sir John Kothalawala Defence University, was handed over to the Navy on 28st April 2020. Moreover, a stock of 100 Nos. of similar inhaler devices were donated by them to the Navy also today (01st May 2020). Surgeon Charith Nanayakkara, lecturer in General Sir John Kothalawala Defence University, Chief Executive Officer of Dankotuwa Porcelain Ltd. and its representatives were present on this occasion.

The donation was taken over by Commander of the Navy Vice Admiral Piyal De Silva and he expressed Navy’s gratitude to the representatives for their concern and this timely valuable donation to the Navy.
