Colombo Dockyard PLC donates a stock of face masks to Navy

Extending their cooperation to the programmes conducted by the Navy for controlling the spread of coronavirus, Colombo Dockyard PLC donated a stock of face masks to the Navy, at the Naval Headquarters, today (04^th May 2020).

Several campaigns are carried out by the Navy under the directives of Commander of the Navy Vice Admiral Piyal De Silva, to control the spread of coronavirus in the country and a lot of material aids provided by various organizations are being received for these campaigns. As such donation, a stock of face masks donated by the Colombo Dockyard PLC, was handed over to the Navy by its Managing Director Mr. DV Abesinghe, today. Navy’s role in controlling the spread of the virus, was appreciated by the Managing Director.

This stock of face masks was taken over by Commander of the Navy and he expressed Navy’s gratitude to the Managing Director of CDL.
