Thirteen (13) naval personnel tested negative to COVID-19 discharged from hospitals-Recovered number goes up 357

Another thirteen (13) naval personnel infected with coronavirus and underwent treatment in hospitals, were discharged from the hospitals being tested negative to COVID-19, on 27th May 2020.

These naval personnel who were identified positive to coronavirus, were admitted to hospitals for treatment. Out of these thirteen, 08 persons in Naval General Hospital, 04 persons in Homagama hospital and 01 person in Mulleriyawa hospital, were under treatment. Since, these sailors found negative to COVID-19 on the reports of random PCR tests done under treatment, they were discharged on 27th May 2020.

As of now, including these 13 naval personnel, 357 naval personnel out of the total number of infected ones, have been discharged from hospitals after tested negative to COVID-19. Further, these discharged naval personnel were directed to keep under quarantine for another 14 days following the healthcare instructions.
