A woman apprehend with 12-bore shot gun

A woman with a 12-bore shotgun was apprehended during a search operation conducted by the Navy in coordination with the Police, at Marichchukatti area in Silavaththura, on 31^st May 2020.

Accordingly, a 12-bore shotgun which was hidden in a house, was recovered during a search carried out at Marichchukatti area in Silavaththura by naval personnel attached to the Northwestern Naval Command, in coordination with Silavathura Police. A woman stayed in the house was also taken into custody.

The apprehended woman is a resident of the same area, aged 34. Further investigation on the gun and the woman are conducted by Silavathura Police.
