Navy recoveries rise to 899 as another naval person discharged following full recovery from COVID – 19

Another naval person (01) who had contracted COVID-19 and underwent treatment in hospital was discharged after gaining full recovery from the virus, confirmed by PCR tests, on 14th July 2020.

This individual who contracted COVID-19 was receiving treatment from the Iranativu Hospital. Since, the sailor has tested negative for COVID-19, based on the reports of random PCR tests done while in hospital he was discharged on 14th July 2020.

As of now, including the latest recovery, 899 naval personnel out of the total naval COVID cluster, have been discharged from hospitals after their full recovery from the virus. Further, these discharged naval personnel were instructed to stay in 14 days of further quarantine, adhering to health precautions.
