Navy Commander calls on Secretary Defence

The Commander of the Navy, Vice Admiral Nishantha Ulugetenne paid a courtesy call on the Secretary to the Ministry of Defence Major General (Retd.) Kamal Gunaratne at the Ministry of Defence today (16^th July 2020).

During the ensuing discussion, the Secretary Defence extending his best wishes to Vice Admiral Ulugetenne on his assumption of office as the 24^th Commander of the Sri Lanka Navy. Mementoes were also exchanged between them to mark the Navy Commander’s first official call on the Secretary Defence upon assumption of duties in the new position.
