The Sea Vision Operator Course, organized by the Office of the Defence Cooperation of the Embassy of the United States to Sri Lanka, was successfully held at the Light House Galley in Colombo from 13th to 17th May 2024.

As part of the Naval Social Responsibility Project, 02 medical grade Reverse Osmosis (RO) plants designed for the Hemodialysis Unit at National Hospital – Kandy were declared open for community use on 17th May 2024.

Coinciding with the 15th Victory Day anniversary 3146 sailors have been advanced to their next higher rates by Commander of the Navy, Vice Admiral Priyantha Perera, with the approval of Hon. President and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces.
