The National Sea & Air Farers Sunday Service was successfully held at the St. Peter’s Church in Fort, Colombo on 14th July 2024. The event was attended by the President of the Navy Christian Council, Rear Admiral Damian Fernando and a group of naval personnel.

Navy-built pilgrims’ hall of Deegavapiya Chaithya declared open in parallel with depositing of relics and treasures
Hon. Ranil Wickremesinghe, the President and Commander - in - Chief of the Armed Forces of Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka deposited relics and treasures at the historic Deegavapiya Chaithya on 14th July 2024.
